“Working in healthcare without using an LLM nowadays it's impossible! You can't do it.”
Challenge: Previously I would spend 1–2 hours collecting information on Google, looking up guidelines, clinical recommendations, or a specific therapy.
Solution: I literally use DR. INFO every day in my clinical practice as an aid in delivering care. In fact, nowadays working in healthcare without using an LLM is, in my view, unthinkable — not only because it greatly optimizes our research and information-gathering.
Impact: DR. INFO does that in one or two minutes. It’s time I no longer have to spend, which lets me devote more time and resources to my patients.

“Infective Endocarditis! It looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck. But…is it a duck?! – a curious example, using DR. INFO.”
Challenge: Finding the obvious solution for a complex clinical case can indeed be challenging. Realizing that a rare disease is the true etiology is not only mind-blowing but also very difficult to confirm.
Solution: DR. INFO exemplifies the benefits of having quick and reliable confirmation at hand. It allows clinicians to rapidly validate their reasoning with up-to-date and trustworthy references, strengthening confidence in their knowledge.
Impact: DR. INFO makes this process practical and adds a unique advantage: the ability to create an appealing and easy-to-present infographic summary of the answer.

Dr. Marta Isidoro

“Being an anesthesiologist means thinking fast. Having DR. INFO on your hand is like having a medical book on hand every single minute that replies to your questions.”

Dr. Marta Isidoro
Anesthesiologist, pain specialist
“Being an anesthesiologist means thinking fast. Having DR. INFO on your hand is like having a medical book on hand every single minute that replies to your questions.”
Challenge: For an anesthesiologist, safety at work is one of the main concerns. And knowing those sources are trustworthy means I no longer primarily search for medical information anywhere else.
Solution: At the moment I’ve been using DR. INFO for multiple applications: in anesthetic clinical practice, to clarify questions about less common conditions and anesthetic implications or drug interactions. In my pain practice, particularly to review guidelines. In scientific work to prepare papers and quickly review topics. And in my day-to-day, to review any condition that isn’t part of my routine practice and that I need to quickly understand and grasp the implications.
Impact: In chronic pain I can save a few minutes in consultation when I quickly review a topic, but that isn’t the main advantage in my practice. The confidence with which I deliver my work is completely different.

“DR. INFO does not aim to replace physicians or turn shortcomings into virtues; it aims to be a valuable ally to healthcare professionals, contributing to better patient care.”
Challenge: Need for answers without distraction, using only valid, up-to-date, scientific references.
Solution: When I first heard about DR. INFO, given the team behind it, I immediately knew it was something serious. Not only because of the clinical excellence of those presenting it, but also because I knew they were people capable of steering a project that addresses real problems, rather than the short-termism so often attributed to AI. I’m extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to provide feedback from the very beginning.
Impact: Since then, DR. INFO has evolved impressively, coming ever closer to what I consider the ideal pragmatic colleague. My ambition, as both a contributor and a user, is to help bring DR. INFO to the leading figures in Emergency Medicine whom I look to as references today, and to have the satisfaction of seeing them also recognize DR. INFO as a tool of excellence.

“Certainly, throughout the 6th year of medical school and during hospital rotations, it will be a tool I use routinely.”
Challenge: The need for reliable, high-quality information as a med student.
Solution: DR. INFO is a very useful tool for searching the literature and improving scientific work, offering reliable, high-quality information. When I began researching the new topic of my thesis, a single question was enough to get a clear, up-to-date summary of the subject, with recent, validated references. I also admit that, in day-to-day practice, it has often proved useful for quickly accessing dosing drug information and adverse drug effects.
Impact: Immediately and solid foundation to structure the entire literature review.

“It was remarkable how quickly and clearly it answered questions.”
Challenge: In a knee prosthesis case, exploring complications and reasons for revision.
Solution: I had a very useful experience with DR. INFO. It helped me structure the differential diagnoses, understand what to do when faced with infection, and review the different stages of revision surgery.
Impact: Because it’s quite a specific topic, it was remarkable how quickly and clearly it answered questions that, in the hospital setting, are crucial given the need for promptness and easy access to information!
